Park Royal Centre is an upscale mall in the affluent city of West Vancouver, BC.  When the management elected to move the food court to a more favorable location they retained the services of MMM, a mechanical consultant in Vancouver who has specified Halton product on previous food court projects.

MMM specified Halton Capture Ray water wash hoods with M.A.R.V.E.L +.

• The use of UV hoods sufficiently alleviated exhaust air quality concerns without the use of ecology units.  This allowed the mall owner to offload the equipment cost of UV hoods to his tenants rather than supplying costly ecology units as part of the base building package.
• The water wash feature assures regular cleaning without the need for the landlord to “police” it.
• M.A.R.V.E.L. + assures ASHRAE 90.1 compliance while assuring air balancing.

The mall owner is very pleased with the outcome.  Traffic in the new location is more than twice that of the old food court and the service and coordination he received from the Halton team made for a very smooth project
