Chilled beams, an air circulation device, provide excellent thermal comfort and draught-free conditions. They are also quieter, fulfilling even the highest acoustic demands of working, relaxing, and healing environments. Halton’s broad range of chilled beams includes both active and passive beams that are further classified for their adaptability (RE6), hygiene (VPR), and aesthetics (CSW). Halton designs chilled beams to offer exceptional comfort and flexibility with a lower carbon footprint.
Active chilled beams (REX, RXP) are versatile solutions suitable for a variety of environments, from offices and meeting rooms to hotel rooms and hospital ward rooms. On the other hand, Passive chilled beams (CPA) are energy-efficient and rely on natural convection.
Chilled beams (RE6) are either part of a system package with a room automation system (VRA) or an independent product that is compatible with a room automation controller (WRA).
