We hereby inform you that we have decided to discontinue the manufacturing of the FDL fire dampers gradually.
Kindly note that a valid type approval certificate is required when product has been installed on board a ship. Certificates for FDL fire dampers are valid as follows:
- MED (BV), expires 26.1.2026
- Lloyd’s Register, expires 20.7.2025
- DNV, expires 7.2.2026
- ABS, expires 2.9.2026
Although we will not be renewing the FDL certificates after they expire, we are pleased to offer you the world’s most widely sold marine fire damper FDB2 as a superior replacement for the FDL. This product continues our tradition of excellence and commitment to your safety and satisfaction.
