Important information to Halton Marine, Energy and Infrastructure customers regarding cabin units

August 29, 2024

We would like to inform you of our decision to gradually discontinue the production of the following cabin units at our Lahti factory in Finland:

  • HMR
  • HMF (casing thickness 0.75/1.0 mm)
  • HMM (casing thickness 0.75/1.0 mm)
  • HME (casing thickness 0.75/1.0 mm)

All above models use the insulation material of PAROC Marine Fire slab 100 N3, thickness 25 mm and density 100 kg/m3

The primary reason for this change is the unavailability of Paroc insulation material after 31 May 2024, with no suitable replacement available from other manufacturers.

We have sufficient stock of Paroc insulation material for customers’ purchase orders received before 15 July 2024.

Production of the following products will continue at our factory in Shanghai, China.

  • HMF (casing thickness 0.75/1.0 mm)
  • HMM (casing thickness 0.75/1.0 mm)
  • HME (casing thickness 0.75/1.0 mm)

In Lahti factory, we will continue manufacturing the following cabin units:

  • HMF
  • HMM
  • HME

All above models have casing material thickness of 0.5 mm with insulation material ISOVER ULTIMATE mineral wool, thickness 20 mm and density 66 kg/m3.

All these products are MED type approved for B0/B15 constructions, maintaining our tradition of excellence and commitment to your safety and satisfaction in indoor air quality.

In Lahti and in China we will continue to manufacture too

  • HFR/M

NOTE: It is not MED approved for B-0/B-15 installations

Thank you for your ongoing trust in Halton Marine, Energy, and Infrastructure.
